Definition of Human Resource Management

Defination of HRM, human resource management, bba, mba, business studiesHuman Resource Management (HRM) has been defined as a process of acquisition, motivation, development, maintenance and utilization of man power in an organization for the purpose of achieving predetermined  goals.
HRM has been defined in many ways by different authors.These are-
Ricky W. Griffin: Human Resource Management is the set of organizational activities directed at attracting, developing & maintaining an effective work force.

Gray Dessler: The policies and practices involved in carrying out the people or human resource aspects of a management position including recruiting, screening, training, rewarding and appraising.
